A practical approach to residential construction
Every project begins with an existing set of conditions. In remodeling, those conditions are the house itself: its structure, utilities, layout, previous alterations and the parts worth keeping. In new construction, they are the lot, access, orientation, utilities and the program for the future home.
Our job is to organize those conditions into a workable scope. That means asking useful questions early, making selections before they become schedule problems, coordinating trades around the same plan and treating communication as part of construction rather than an extra.
